Viva Love, Philadelphia | Frequently Asked Wedding Questions
We are a Philadelphia wedding photography company that captures real honest moments without all the cheesy stuff you hate about wedding photography.
Questions & Answers
Who even are you?
+ Hi, my name is Ian, and I'm an artist living in Philadelphia. Check my About section to learn more. Viva Love is an idea that came from a song thats been stuck in my head for the better part of a decade: "Sing everything you've ever loved, for everything that you will one day love." Vive L'amour.
+ Our other photographer is named David, he's also our photo editor, and you can find out more about him here!
How would you describe your photography style? What inspires you?
+ My goal is always to capture real and genuine moments, while also creating timeless portraits. I'm inspired by the old school photojournalists, by film noir directors. By the artists I know who are so passionate about what they do, that I can't help but want to be more like them and push myself every day to be better at my craft. I value hard work and passion over just about everything.
Do you travel for weddings? How does that work?
+ Yes, absolutely - in fact I love to! I travel for around half of the weddings I shoot every year. If its outside of PA/NJ/DE/NY I ask for a flight + hotel. But most of the time, if you book my full package I'll throw in the flight!
How long will it take us to receive our images? How will they be sent?
+ Depending on what time of the year your wedding falls, it'll be between 2 weeks and 2 months. I get them out as fast as I can! Your images will come to you in an online gallery from where you can download them all at once, share them on social media, and order high quality prints.
How many images will we get?
+ It depends on the length of time you book with me, but generally around 600-900 images. Sometimes more!
Whats up with your film and instant photos?
+ Along side my digital cameras, I shoot with a couple different film cameras. I love the process and look of film - I think it has a timeless quality to it, which is something I strive for with my photography. There is no charge for this either - I do it for fun! But you will get scans of the film photos, and if I can I will mail you the actual polaroids too!
Do you have backup equipment that you bring to weddings?
+ Always. I wouldn't feel right if I didn't have backups of every single piece of equipment. Things happen, life happens. And I prefer to be prepared. Your photos are saved on two different external hard drives, and backed up on to a cloud server. You'll never have anything to worry about.
I guess thats all of our questions, we'd love to book you! How do we do that?
+ Thanks! Just go to my Contact page and send me an email. I'm excited to hear from you!
